This book is a solid 4 star. The author created good characters that love and hate. . Very true form to romantic stories. The characters start as complex with interesting pasts.Unfortunately, at about 70% complete, I felt like another author took over and we got less details and left my asking why? What changed between the characters?
(Spoilers). The last part of the story Reed changes his tune after returning from a mission. . . No rhyme or reason by the author- just changed. What were on the voicemails that made Emerson change her mind about Reed-again more mystery. What happened to Marigold. . .did she sleep through the reunion?
Great start but too much if a rush to finish the story the left me, as the reader, flat. Definitely, a good author, just need some good feedback.

Enjoyed it
This was short and sweet but the dirty talk is off the charts. It's like you can hear him whisper those words in my ear.
A series of misunderstandings makes this book interesting. I believe it would have been a great book had it been about 250 to 300 pages. Definitely worth the read.
Going out to a bar with her roommate, Emerson happens to see a sex man getting sucked off. Reed realizes he's being watched and realizes he wants HER. Reed tracks Emerson down at her job passing out samples at a warehouse store and so begins their romance, which is hot and spicy! Good read and I look forward to reading more my Mia!
He's stalkerish. She's stupid.
This was a really intense fast paced book. If you are looking for hot steamy scenes then this is the book for you. While she was battling her past, he was battling his future. So where do you think the two end up??
Grabbed this based on reviews citing hero is dirty talking. Not so much, me thinks. Quite mild. What I found was hero was quite poetic in his gruff way.
Tonnes of editing errors but was too immersed in MCs to care.
This was one of the most ridiculous books I have ever read. H was arrogant and obnoxious, refused to be with a virgin, no contact, a month later they fool around, no sex, he leaves, more time passes, they meet, she blows him off, she finally reads his texts, finds out he is a SEAL, goes to his house and they profess their love right then and there. No relationship, no character development, nothing. That was the story. No way did anyone think that was a 5 star book.
